About Tracy
Iyengar Certified, Tracy successfully completed her three year studies to receive her Introductory Iyengar Yoga Certification in Victoria, BC, September 2014. Prior to this she graduated from the Yoga Studio College of Canada Teacher Training Program in 2010 and is also certified by the same.
She has practiced yoga since 2000 and has taught since 2006. She continues her studies in preparation for the next level of certification in the Iyengar Yoga system; she regularly attends both Canadian and International Senior Iyengar Yoga workshops and studies regularly at the Iyengar Yoga Victoria Centre.
Tracy focuses on alignment, the development of strength, flexibility and body awareness allowing students to move deeper in their practice, expend their awareness. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the art and science of Yoga enliven her classes with intelligent instruction, challenge and humour.

Foundations Forward
(75 minute class)
This class is designed for students new to yoga, beginning students and those looking to strengthen alignment in practice and for postural health. Students will cultivate strength, flexibility, stamina and focus. Appropriate for all levels and abilities.
General Iyengar Yoga Class
(75 minute class)
With emphasis on alignment and posture sequencing the student will develop strength, flexibility, stamina, and focus. Weak muscles will strengthen and stiff areas body will release to realize balance throughout the whole body. Increased awareness of the breath, deep relaxation and peace will be encouraged in your yoga practice on and off the mat.
Corporate, Community Groups, Sports Teams

Yoga Etiquette
To ensure that your yoga practice is enjoyable for yourself and others please follow the suggestions below:
Advise the instructor of any injuries and/or changes to your health. Refrain from eating 2-3 hours prior to practicing yoga.
Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing; yoga pant, tights or shorts and a tank or t-shirt.
Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the yoga class beginning; life happens, late comers are always welcome, please take a breath before you enter, come in quietly so as not to disturb the other students and when you are ready join in.
Avoid wearing fragrance out of courtesy to others that may have chemical sensitivies. Please turn your cell phone off or place it on vibrate mode.

We are not able to direct bill for Tracy's services, but receipts may be emailed or printed if desired.
