About Simone

Simone is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She has formal training in mental health, addiction and recovery, and autism spectrum disorder. She has supported autistic people for eight years. She provides neurodiversity affirming care to all individuals, with or without a formal diagnosis. Additionally, she has worked in mental health and addiction for five years. Simone is passionate about empowering others to find their path towards a healthy lifestyle.

Simone’s early life experiences inspired a keen interest in understanding what makes people behave the way they do. This curiosity eventually led her towards obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. As a person who participates in demanding sporting events such as ultra running, trail running, and triathlons, Simone intimately understands how physical and mental health connect to allow someone to feel overall wellness with themselves and as part of a larger community.

Simone’s approach to counselling helps clients discover ways that they can think and act to be more in alignment with their values. Simone practices a holistic and strength-based perspective, including the integration of the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of a person’s lifestyle that brings them meaning. Simone believes growth requires purposeful commitment to self, flexibility, and interpersonal connections as agents of change. She provides a safe and supportive space to help clients with the changes they are longing for.
