About Dr. Nathan Jeffery
In my early 20’s I crashed. Out of nowhere, I would have episodes where it felt like my brain stopped working and I struggled to do the simplest of things. At times talking was almost impossible. I felt exhausted and lived with a constant feeling of overwhelm and anxiety.
Doctors could not explain my symptoms and I jumped from medication to medication but nothing worked. After many years, I began to learn about my body and started studying nutrition and natural medicine. I found ways to manage my energy and support my brain through nutrition and herbal medicines. I learned all I could about brain health, digestion and anxiety.
Today, I enjoy learning about brain health and neuroscience technology. I have a general practice and treat many health conditions. I also provide virtual consultations to remote locations in BC and abroad.

Naturopathic Medicine
As a regulated health profession, naturopathic approaches involve the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of health conditions, diseases or disorders. An emphasis is placed on maintaining health through wellness, natural therapies and preventative medicine.
A variety of treatments are used, ranging from psychological strategies for stress, IV nutrients, to natural remedies, but also incorporating conventional treatments when needed. Naturopathic techniques to assess and diagnose involve questionnaires, diagnostic lab testing, functional lab testing, and physical exams.
We build health through optimizing digestion, balancing the nervous system, reducing inflammation, correcting structural irregularities, and supporting cellular nutrition.
Trigger Point Injections for Myofascial Pain
Trigger point injections (TPI) is a procedure used to treat painful areas of muscle that contain trigger points, or knots of muscle that form when muscles do not relax. These knots can be felt under the skin most commonly in the shoulders, neck, low back and knee. Trigger points may irritate the nerves around them and cause referred pain, or pain that is felt in another part of the body.
In this treatment, a very small amount of sterile solution may be injected into the painful points in muscles using a small needle to help them relax and relieve pain and tension. Each injection is followed by soft tissue massage to further relax the muscles. This treatment is effective for neck, shoulder, low back and joint pain.
Blood Based Food Sensitivity and Intolerance Testing
Methods for assessing food sensitivities or intolerances used by Dr. Jeffery include the SIBO breath test, blood based food sensitivity testing and comprehensive stool analysis. Please book an initial or follow up naturopathic visit to discuss these testing options.
Elapromed Skin Rejuvenation Treatment
During this treatment a process called transdermalporation is used. The elapromed device utilizes electronic micro-impulses which encourages the skin to absorb up to 70ml of our natural corrective nutritive formulations directly into the dermis. Virtually acting like an electronic syringe, this technology enables the technician to deeply hydrate the skin with nutritional solutions, hyaluronic acid and peptides for vibrant aging, natural acne and eczema treatment. It provides safe and natural medical treatment to other needling techniques such traditional mesotherapy and micro-needling, without painful injections, side effects or downtime.
Because of the calming action of the low level electrical pulses and facial massage, our clients know this as the mindfulness / vagus nerve facial.
