About Us

Purely Wellness is a modern and welcoming Health & Wellness Centre located in Duncan, British Columbia, on beautiful Vancouver Island.

We officially opened in early 2021 and feature a wide range of practitioners and practice areas, plus our Eminence Organics Skin Care shop, Pacific Sleep Care, and mettra Pharmacy.

With the completion of our third phase of construction in 2023, we've grown to become the largest multidisciplinary clinic in the Cowichan Valley, and proudly the clinic of choice for clients & practitioners alike.

Janelle Baker

Operations Manger

Janelle moved to the Island in 2006 with her husband Jonathan and daughters Jaxon and Georgia. After spending 14 years in big box retail management, Janelle decided to switch careers into Health and Wellness. She enjoys watching and cheering on her daughters who are very active with Rugby, and is excited to be a part of a growing wellness centre like Purely Wellness that is able to offer so much to our community.

Rebecca Ogden

Administative Assistant

Becky is a life-long Vancouver Island resident, born and raised in Victoria and now grateful to call the Cowichan Valley home. With over 20 years of experience in medical office management, she ensures that client care runs smoothly. During her down time, Rebecca enjoys activities with friends, family, and her adventure companion Keeva, a black Labrador. Whether it’s adventuring in the Cowichan Valley, spending time reading, painting, or one of her other passions, she’s a true west coast girl.

Cassandra Finch

Administative Assistant

Cassandra was born in Newfoundland but has spent most of her life in the Cowichan Valley. She has over 13 years of business management experience in fast-paced environments and other wellness clinics. She's a mom to a wonderful daughter, and together they enjoy exploring trails, camping, stargazing, and biking. She is very active in all her daughter's extracurricular activities and watching her play soccer.

Annie Mansueti

Administative Assistant

Annie is a born and raised Cowichan Valley local who moved away for most of her 20s, then back to the valley in 2017 to raise her daughter close to family. Annie enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community through Kidsport Cowichan Valley, as well as supporting other local charities throughout the year. She coaches when she can to encourage her daughter’s love of sports and enjoys being around friends, hunting, camping, softball, and golfing.

Michael Gordon

Founder & Director

Born and raised in Vancouver, Michael has a varied career history as a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and software engineer. He moved to Vancouver Island in 2019 and lives in Cobble Hill with his wife and daughters. When not working on the business, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, learning more about health, listening to music, reading, and travel.
