  • About Sarah - Foot Care

Hello, my name is Sarah Michaluk, and I am a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, client-centered care. I began my nursing journey at Red River College in 2002 and went on to complete my Bachelor of Nursing (BN) at the University of Manitoba in 2012. That same year, I earned a Certificate of Achievement in Foot Care for Nurses through Red River College, launching my focused practice in professional foot care.

I hold a Master of Science in Community Health from the University of Toronto, with a specialization in wound prevention and care. My thesis focused on the care of the diabetic foot—an area I am deeply passionate about. I also completed the Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention Program: Comprehensive Management of the Neuropathic Foot through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, further strengthening my expertise in preventing and managing diabetes-related foot complications. I am highly qualified to assess, treat, and manage foot issues arising from diabetes, and I am committed to preserving mobility, comfort, and quality of life for every client I serve.

In addition to my clinical training, I hold a Master of Science in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine from Maharishi International University, a Diploma in Professional Counselling from the Vancouver College of Counselling Therapists, and I am currently completing my Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Yorkville University. This broad and integrative background allows me to provide holistic care that supports both physical and emotional well-being.

I am a proud member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses (CAFCN), the American Holistic Nurses Association, and the Canadian Holistic Nurses Association, reflecting my dedication to professional excellence and lifelong learning.

Whether you're seeking routine nail care, help with corns, calluses, or fungal concerns, or advanced diabetic foot care, I offer safe, respectful, and personalized services designed to help you feel your best—one step at a time.
