About Mai
Mai was born in Vietnam, a world leader in the highly competitive field of permanent cosmetics. Through hard work, dedication, and keen eye for detail coupled with a strong desire for perfection, Mai has climbed to the top of her industry. As the head instructor of an academy for three years in her home country, she taught many woman the art of her craft.
Her continued drive to move forward then brought her to Vancouver Island, where she worked at a spa in Victoria before moving to Duncan to create a life here.
With certificates in microblading, shading, lip blush, and eyelash extensions, along with nearly a decade within this industry, Mai has risen to become the master technician she is today.
In her career of permanent cosmetics spanning over nine years, she has advanced her skill and knowledge to the level of an elite aesthetician. Her attention to detail and creative eye helps her to see each client’s unique facial structure and different needs, allowing her to curate the best look for each and every person she works on.
